Lancashire's Salon of The Year has been refurbished ready for Monday's reopening

Hairdresser Nicola Dickinson has worked at Lancashire Salon of The Year, Flame Urban Spa in Garstang Road, Preston, for 18 years, but this is only her second year of owning the business.

After losing a lot of that time to Covid restrictions, she's now hoping to truly put her stamp on the place, and has spent the last lockdown carrying out a full refurbishment.

"We have mixed feelings about Monday", said Nicola.

"We can't wait to open again, but at the same time, we've been here before and have been closed down.

"But this time we've done a full refurbishment - everything you can think of - and we are looking forward to people seeing it."
