Virtual Christmas market will raise funds for Age UK Lancashire

Katie Bird from Canary North Creative and Lydia Kate from Bosty Bakes are holding a Lancashire-based Virtual Christmas Market and raffle on Saturday and Sunday (November 14 and 15)
Katie said: “We are having a range of small local businesses become stallholders for this virtual Christmas Market event, as a Covid safe alternative to a physical Christmas market.

Katie added: “Stalls are just £10 for the weekend, and alongside this we are running an amazing raffle, full of great prizes donated from our stall holders and a variety of local businesses.
“All money made from these stall fees and raffle tickets are not for profit, but instead going straight to the amazing local charity Age UK Lancashire.”

“But they have still diversified their services throughout the pandemic providing a hospital after care service, a good day phone call service, home help scheme and a supporting the local community service.”
“This charity has worked tirelessly throughout Covid in assisting the elderly community with getting home from hospital and providing them with support.”
