Longridge banking hub opens with access to Lloyds, Halifax and NatWest

A new banking hub in Longridge, replacing closed branches, is now open for transactions and services.

A new Cash Access UK banking hub, giving customers shared access to multiple banks, opened its doors in Longridge on Friday, May 29, 2026.

The hub, which has opened in its permanent location at 19-21 Berry Lane in the town, previously occupied by Tan-N-Go, was given the green light by planning bosses at Ribble Valley Borough Council in April.

Banking hubs are being introduced in communities that have lost traditional bank branches, with 12 hubs open in Lancashire and two more set to open soon in Ormskirk and Skelmersdale.

Maya Ellis, MP for Ribble Valley, attended the official opening and ribbon-cutting of the new hub, which will give customers access to major banks.

Customers can visit the hub on weekdays between 9am and 5pm to carry out regular transactions, including withdrawals and deposits, as well as checking balances and paying bills.

Additionally, the hub offers a community banker service, where customers can talk to their own bank in a private space about more complicated issues on the day their bank is in the hub.
