KFC launches home delivery service in Buckshaw Village

Fried chicken fans in Buckshaw will soon be able to get their finger-lickin' fix delivered to their door when KFC launches its home delivery service next week.

KFC had planned to begin home deliveries on March 26, but this was postponed due to the coronavirus pandemic.

But it has now confirmed that its drive-thru in Buckshaw will begin delivering food to homes in the area from Thursday, June 25.

KFC said it has partnered with online food delivery service Uber Eats, which already delivers McDonald's to fast-food fans in Buckshaw.

It means families will no longer have to face long queues at its Buckshaw Avenue restaurant, where service has been limited to its drive-thru since it reopened last month.

KFC has not confirmed any plans to reopen its inside seating areas at this stage.
