A local hospice has relaunched one of its charity shops as a £1 store.
St Catherine’s Hospice said all items at its Lostock Hall branch in Leyland Road will cost just £1 from today (Monday, September 7).
The charity announced the permanent price drop in a Facebook post on Sunday evening, with everything in the shop - from ladies’ and men’s clothing to children's wear, accessories and bric-a-brac priced at £1.
It said: “We're delighted to welcome you to our new St Catherine's £1.00 Shop on Leyland Road, Lostock Hall, PR5 5SD!
“Yes, that's right. From tomorrow, our Lostock Hall shop is going to be a £1 shop. Perfect timing as Second Hand September is kicking off.
“With every item now priced at just £1.00, it's the perfect place to pick up quality items while supporting a great cause. Come and discover your next bargain today!”
The shop’s opening times are Monday to Friday, 10am to 4pm and Saturday, 10am to 1pm.
