Our photographer Kelvin Stuttard paid a visit to Hopwoods Tap House, which has opened on the corner of Church Street and Avenham Street.
Famous Victorian tobacco business WH & J Woods, which once employed more than 200 workers locally, has been incorporated in the site's refurb with the bar sitting on the same site.
