We Are Scientists 53 return

The trio, led by founder members Keith Murray and Chris Cain, have played here in the past and have always been very popular in our city.

In 2008, they actually played no less than three shows here – including a sold-out show at 53 Degrees and two highly intimate shows, to promote the release of their third album, Brain Thrust Mastery.

One of these exclusive shows was at Action Records and the other in the Kolor Bar on Church Street.

Both were huge sell-outs with fans waiting outside for a glimpse and lucky ticket holders cramming the venue.

Formed in California in 2000, they are now based in New York. These days, Keith and Chris are backed by ex-Razorlight drummer Andy Burrows.
