Preston City Wrestling (PCW) celebrates its second anniversary tomorrow night with a show that could even surpass its greatest efforts so far.
Too Good To Be Two sees the promotion move away from its usual setting of Lava & Ignite, which is undergoing a refit, to Rumes Nightclub in Church Street, Preston.
The ‘British talent only’ event is headlined by the ultimate contest - a one-hour ‘iron man’ match between PCW Heavyweight Champion Doug Williams and his high flying challenger El Ligero.
The bout, which is the first 60-minute iron man match held in the UK in living memory, will see the duo battle it out for the most falls by either pinfall, submission, disqualification, or countout within one hour.
Williams was set to face Noam Dar, however the Scottish wrestling prodigy was forced to withdraw from the contest due to a serious shoulder injury and has been replaced by Ligero.
Elsewhere on the card is the thrilling prospect of a six-man Money in the Bank ladder match - with Dean Allmark, Bubblegum, Martin Kirby, Kris Travis, Joey Hayes and CJ Banks competing to gain an automatic title shot.
Team Single (T-Bone and Rampage Brown) will defend their PCW Tag Team Titles against the formidable Dave Mastiff and Johnny Moss.
Dave Rayne will look to retain his PCW Cruiserweight Championship against a mystery opponent after Ligero was promoted to the main event and the enigmatic Mad Man Manson faces Danny Hope in an unpredictable one-on-one encounter.
Doors open at 6pm with first bell at 7pm. Tickets priced £10 are available from Skiddle.com and on the door.
