Lots to see when the summer has passed

Manchester’s Royal Exchange Theatre has announced more details of its Autumn-Winter 2014 /15 season including confirmation of shows in The Studio and special one-off events in The Theatre with organisations including Liberty, Manchester Camerata and Manchester Literature Festival.

Highlights in The Studio include the world premiere of Crocodiles by Lee Mattinson, the Gate Theatre’s production of Grounded; and 3 Little Pigs - Stuff and Nonsense Theatre Company’s Christmas show for children.

Crocodiles – which runs from September 30 to October 18 - was the winner of the inaugural Royal Exchange Hodgkiss Award, which
celebrates collaboration between a writer and director.

Beckie Darlington presents Gate Theatre’s production of Grounded which runs from November 4 to November 8.

This new play targets assumptions about war, family, and what it is to be a woman.

Christmas in The Studio will see 3 Little Pigs run from December 18 to January 3.

Manchester Literature Festival presents Sheila Hancock In Conversation with Jenni Murray on October 17.

Liberty, The University of Manchester and the Royal Exchange present On Liberty: Shami Chakrabarti In Conversation on November 18.
