Conjuring laughter from magic and science

‘When Magic and science Collide’ was a 22 consecutive nights sell-out smash in Edinburgh last year and he has since received rave reviews the length and breadth of Britain.

Meech, a 28-year old Oxford Psychology graduate and illusionist, brings the show – which he describes as a “comedy magic show for the QI Generation” – to Scorton Village Hall on Saturday October 18 at 7.30pm.

He promises a fun-filled fusion of magic, mirth and mind-reading along with astounding tricks inspired by astounding science.

‘When Magic and Science Collide’ forms part of Spot On Lancashire’s autumn season of rural touring and will see the comedy magician also perform at Cliviger (near Burnley)Village Hall on Friday October 17 at 7.30pm.

Spot On director Sue Robinson, spoke of her excitement at securing Oliver Meech to perform: “This is such an entertaining show that’s been successful all over the UK, we jumped at the chance to bring Oliver to Lancashire.

“You don’t need any science knowledge to enjoy it either, so just sit back and be blown away!”
