Bolshoi’s Romeo and Juliet is live

A stunning performance of one of the world’s most romantic ballets by one of the world’s most famous ballet companies is to be beamed live to Lancaster Dukes Theatre this Sunday.

The amazing Bolshoi Ballet will be performing their renowned version of the great Romeo and Juliet onstage in London as the show is transmitted live to the big screen in the Moor Lane theatre’s Round venue.

The Bolshoi’s stars will be dancing in a revival of Yuri Grigorovich’s acclaimed 1978 production featuring outstanding choreography, sumptuous costumes and some of the composer’s most lyrical music.

This adaptation of the famous Shakespeare tragic romance shows the feud between the Capulets and Montagues which brings bloodshed to the city of Verona.
