McBusted tickets – We Said Yes...

McBusted hit the region this weekend – and there are tickets left for those who didn’t win The Lancashire Evening Post’s exclusive competition.

The newspaper teamed up with Livenation to give away five pairs of tickets for the standing area at the front of the stage for both this Friday and Saturday at Phones 4u Arena, Manchester.

McBusted is a merger of the two British pop-punk groups McFly, who had seven number ones, and Busted, who had four number ones. The four McFly bandmates and two-thirds of Busted’s original line-up play hits from both groups, including Year 3000, Air Hostess and McFly’s Shine A Light.

We asked why you should win, and here were the best responses:

First off, it’s happy birthday to Vicky Quinn, who said: “I’m 30 on the 13th, and need to relive my youth whilst I still can and tick it off the bucket list!”

Emily-Victoria Canham entered from Kettering, showing the widespread attraction of lep.co.uk. She said: “I would be able to share my night with lots of fans over social media, meaning more people get to enjoy the experience!” All we ask now, Emily-
Victoria, is that you make good your promise and Tweet pics @LEPfeatures on the night.

We decided Emma Cropper needs a night to throw on her posh frocks, her slingbacks and slap on the lippy.

Shame on Lottie’s sister.

Daniel Birkett, of Kirkham, won his tickets for proclaiming: “Nearly 40, would look great on the front row..... This is all....”

Well Daniel, tweet us @LEPfeatures the proof that you did look good and not out of place with all those screaming girls!

Billie Straker, of Burholme Road, Ribbleton, Preston, had waited “to see them forever and couldn’t afford tickets”.

And Hollie Straker, of The Green, Ribbleton, said she would “love to win tickets for the sister, she’s been a fan for 10 years but we’ve never been able to afford tickets”.

Well grab your mates, girls, and enjoy yourselves.
