Lovely Stuff joins stellar line up at Ramsbottom

Chart-topping indie heroes The Wonder Stuff with lead singer Miles Hunt will headline the opening night of this year’s Ramsbottom Festival.

They join The Go! Team and John Bramwell who will headline on Saturday, while Idlewild and The Proclaimers have been confirmed for Sunday.

VIP tickets have gone on sale for the three day festival – September 18-20 – that brings more than 40 live music acts and a packed programme of family arts events to the Ramsbottom cricket ground.

Other confirmed bands playing at Ramsbottom this year include Moulettes, Houdini Dax, Ciaran Lavery, The Sundowners, Slow Readers Club, The Narrows, Rura and Flight Brigade. BBC 6 Music presenters Mark Radcliffe and Tom Robinson will also play with their bands.

Stalls from local restaurants and street food vendors will serve a variety of Great British grub and international cuisine, with the festival’s beer tents offering a variety of craft beers and real ales.

A full festival ticket costs £65, with a family ticket for £140. Various other packages and day tickets also available.
