The city’s fringe festival of theatre, comedy, music and more is on the lookout for volunteers to help bring the event to life.

Starting next week, Tringe is an open-access festival and organisers are looking for local people to get involved in important behind-the-scenes roles.

Whether they are able to provide a couple of hours of support, or help out on a regular basis, volunteering plays a crucial role in bringing the annual festival to the city.

Technical crews help bring performances to life with sound and light, while the front of house team play a critical role in assisting the performers and organising the venues.

The Tringe street marketing team plays a vital role in promoting the events and help bring the festival to the people of Preston.

No experience is necessary, as training will be offered for all positions.
