Conty brings up the festive dozen

Preston’s Continental pub will host its 12th legendary Beer Festival in May this year, offering you more of the best ale, beer and music there is to offer.

From Thursday May 15 to Saturday 17 the event will deliver more than 100 different ales and beers and a mega line-up of live music.

The award winning pub alongside the Ribble hosts gigs by hundreds of new and popular live acts every year, but the beer festival consistently proves its biggest event.

Returning once more are Preston’s Templebys, having performed at the festival previously, with an appearance also at Kendal Calling, the group’s gritty blend of soul and boogaloo promises to electrify the Saturday night.

Other bands scheduled to play on Saturday include Hyperjax, Glaswegian group The Fast Camels and Preston’s 1.21 Gigawatts, with DJ sets from ‘The Funky Onion & Friends’ in-between gigs, and more.

With more bands to be announced, this year’s festival is looking to be quite possibly its biggest yet.
