Classical pair star on campus

Pianist, international chamber musician and festival director Kathryn Stott will return to perform in her hometown this month.

As part of Lancaster International Concert Series, Kathryn Stott will play on the university campus with leader of 100 cellos, charismatic performer and composer Giovanni Sollima.

Sollima plays with Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra and recently made his debut down under with the Australian Chamber Orchestra.

The programme will include Beethoven’s Sonata No. 4 in C, Schumann’s Stucke im Volkston and more.
