Bob the Builder, but not quite as we know him

Hosting a night of drinking, swearing and all things punk, The Continental brings acts Hard Skin and The Nightingales to Preston this Friday.

Acclaimed as the ‘Spinal Tap of street punk’, Millwall rockers Hard Skin top the bill promising a night packed of boozey sing-alongs and on stage banter.

The trio’s songs are considered very ‘tongue-in-cheek’. With songs like ‘Council Estate’, ‘First Day Angry Song’ and ‘Fat Bob The Builder’, Hard Skin are rare in their ability to make comedy into good music.

Meanwhile, The Nightingales, reformed in 2004 by founder Robert Lloyd, are back in the UK punk scene after rocking this year’s Rebellion Punk Festival.

Bringing a wealth of experience, unique post-punk music and a great on-stage presence to the table, The Nightingales are the ones to watch.

The doors open at 7.45pm until 11.15pm, and the last entry is at 10pm.
