As part of their Autumn Tour twin brothers Craig and Charlie Reid will visit the venue on Sunday October 18.

Strikingly similar, utterly individual, Craig and Charlie have over the years enjoyed success across the globe, and in April this year release their 10th album produced by Dave Eringa (Manic Steet Preachers, Wilko Johnson & Roger Daltrey) on the Cooking Vinyl label.

Formed in 1983, the pair came to public attention when a fan sent their demo tape to the The Housemartins, who were impressed enough to invite The Proclaimers on a nationwide tour in 1986.

An appearance early the following year on live pop show The Tube propelled their single Letter from America into the Top 10 while the album it came from – This Is the Story – went gold.

Follow-up album Sunshine on Leith featured US Top Ten smash ‘I’m Gonna Be (500 Miles’ and ‘I’m On My Way.’

Since then the brothers have continued to travel the world and record, carving a niche for themselves where pop, folk, new wave and punk collide.

The theatre success of the musical drama featuring songs by The Proclaimers, ‘Sunshine On Leith’ brought them back into popular consciousness and the movie version was a hugely popular release in 2013
