We need help to save the rescue centre
For 10 years, Chorley Hedgehog Rescue Centre — lovingly run by Janette — has been rescuing, treating, and releasing injured and orphaned hedgehogs across Chorley and beyond.
Janette works tirelessly, often late into the night, using her own savings and donations from kind locals to care for these beautiful little creatures. She gives everything she has to ensure they get a second chance at life.
But now, the rescue is in real danger. Rising costs, vet bills, and mortgage payments are becoming too much to manage.
Without urgent help, this much-loved rescue could be forced to close — leaving countless hedgehogs without the care they desperately need.
Your donation, no matter how small, will help cover:
We can actually help the rescue stay open as we are in need of help with the mortgage threats from the mortgage company to take Janette's home so there will be no rescue if we cannot raise over £150,000 .
Food, bedding, and medical supplies for recovering hedgehogs
Vet bills and essential treatments
Support for the rescue’s running costs and mortgage
Every pound helps Janette continue her incredible work and gives local hedgehogs a safe place
Please help by donating, sharing this page, and spreading the word — your kindness could save countless little lives to recover and thrive.
