Stagecoach brings customers together in the heart of Preston

Stagecoach hosted a community event in Preston to celebrate the extension of its 111 bus service, improving connections between Preston, UCLan and Leyland while promoting affordable travel options.

Stagecoach welcomed customers and local people to a special engagement event in the centre of Preston on Monday (June 1) to celebrate the extension of the 111 service.

A branded Stagecoach bus was parked outside the Harris Museum as colleagues met with customers, shared information on local fare offers and discussed the benefits of the enhanced service for Preston and surrounding communities.

The extended 111 service now operates up to every 12 minutes, strengthening links between Preston city centre, the University of Central Lancashire corridor and Leyland, helping make bus travel more accessible, affordable and convenient for local people.
