Preston care home invites community to summer fair with live music and family fun
Residents, staff and local families are being invited to a community summer fair at Sherwood Lodge care home in Fulwood.
A summer fair with live entertainment and games is planned for Saturday, August 22, in the home's grounds.

The event will feature craft stalls, a tombola, raffle, and traditional games, with 1950s rock and roll band Miniconcerts providing live music. Organisers are seeking donations for raffle and tombola prizes and additional stallholders.
General manager Tracy Catterall said: “We’re looking forward to welcoming residents, relatives, neighbours and new visitors to our summer fair. Events like this are a wonderful opportunity for people of all ages to enjoy themselves, meet new people and see what life at the home is all about.”
The fair is open to everyone, aiming to unite generations for an afternoon of entertainment. Contact Sherwood Lodge to donate prizes, book a stall, or learn more. Sherwood Lodge, in Fulwood, offers residential and respite care, regularly hosting community events.
