Less than two weeks to Rainbow Hub Ramble 2026
Book your place now and help them celebrate in their 25th anniversary year
Are you ready to join Rainbow Hub’s most popular community fundraising event – the annual Ramble which will be taking place on Saturday May 9 2026 hosted by the fabulous Merseyside radio presenter Claire Simmo and part of the celebrations in their 25th Anniversary year.
The event aims to raise thousands of pounds to help the Mawdesley based charity continue providing its specialist services for children and young people with physical and neurological disabilities.
This fantastic day supported by Fletchers Group will start and finish at Bishop Rawstorne High School, Croston. The 5 mile walk (or run!) begins at 10am with registration from 8.45 am. Everyone will be given a Rainbow Hub 25th Anniversary commemorative t shirt and medal provided by Fletchers so it will be a colourful day but fancy dress is still welcome.
And it's a family day out so there will be entertainment and a raffle whilst the participants register and warm up with qualified instructor, Rachel Burrows Fitness. Music will be provided by PQA Chorley; football activities with Fylde FC’s Nathan Delfouneso; face painting, guest characters and Bubble fun with eBublio Magical Bubbles.
Refreshments including burgers, ice cream, hot and cold drinks will be provided by Tuckerbox, Leyland and Miss Whippy.
There is plenty of organised parking and assistance along the route with treats at checkpoints generously sponsored by Scholes Estates, Primetime, R Draper Ltd and Notre Homes.

The entry fee for the Ramble is £15 for adults (16 and over) and £5 for children, free for those in wheelchairs and pushchairs. Dogs welcome. Entry on the day is £20 per adult and £10 per child
Entrants will receive a confirmation email containing event instructions, training information, fundraising tips and a sponsor form.
