Join Rainbow Hub’s Supermums for a spectacular Summer Soiree
Five of Rainbow Hub fabulous Supermums are organising their second Spectacular Summer Soiree to raise funds for the Mawdesley based charity which supports children and young adults with physical and neurological disabilities.
The event will be held at Lostock Conservative Club, Brownedge Road, Lostock Hall, Preston on July 4 starting at 6.30pm when guests can enjoy a night of great company, food, drink and live entertainment with local band WD40.
The five mums who mastermind the evening are Joanne Berends Sheriff, Michelle Jackson, Gemma McLoughlin, Gemma Darwin and Keighley Harrison. Four of the ladies are from Preston and one – Gemma Darwin is from Formby.
All five have children who benefit from conductive education and other services at the charity. Ronnie (8), Joanne’s son, has attended Rainbow Hub for 7 years; Evie (7) Michelle’s daughter for 6 years; Amber (7) Gemma McLoughlin’s daughter for 6 years; Oscar (8) Gemma Darwin’s son for 6 years and Phoebe (7) Keighley’s daughter for 5 years.
Joanne, speaking on behalf of the mums, said:“It will be another amazing evening and worth all the hard work. Our grateful thanks go to everyone who has helped us so far and we look forward to welcoming all our guests. Rainbow Hub is a very special place for our children and we are delighted to be able to help them continue to provide the services that are vital for the children and families they support.”
It’s not too late to book tickets at £25 per person (over 18’s only) which includes a welcome drink, buffet with dessert table, live entertainment with band WD40 and DJ to end the night. There will also be a raffle and auction.
