Harvey launches World Options in Preston
Courier and logistics services firm World Options has expanded its UK network with the launch of a new business in Preston.
The new operation will be led by franchise partner Harvey Close, helping companies across the UK with parcel, freight, import, export and time-sensitive delivery requirements.

World Options provides businesses with access to a range of carrier services through an online shipping portal, allowing customers to compare options and book deliveries through one platform. The service is supported by local franchise partners who work directly with businesses to help manage their shipping needs.
Harvey has launched the Preston business after building a career in personal training, coaching and corporate wellbeing, having previously worked as a self-employed personal trainer for eight years, alongside roles supporting children with special educational needs, youth performance coaching for aspiring sportspeople, and wellbeing programmes for business clients.

Harvey Close, World Options franchise partner for Preston, said: “Launching World Options in Preston is a big step for me and the main focus now is building a business that can support companies across the UK with their shipping needs.
“When shipping items worldwide, it can be difficult for businesses to be sure they are using the best courier service for each shipment, especially when the optimum choice can vary depending on each individual item and destination.
“World Options offers customers the opportunity to ship domestically and internationally with the likes of DHL, FedEx, UPS, TNT and more, helping them choose the right option for every shipment. Our bulk-buying power means customers pay a competitive price for their shipping, whether that be for parcels, pallets, freight transport, documents or imports, either nationally or internationally.
“Crucially, we also help with paperwork to help minimise the risk of delays with customs when shipping to different territories overseas.
“I’ve spent years working with people, understanding their goals and helping them find practical ways to improve. The same principles apply to courier and logistics services: listen properly, understand what is needed, and provide a service people can rely on.”
World Options is part of Fortidia UK, which manages Mail Boxes Etc., PACK & SEND and World Options brands in the UK from its headquarters in Accrington, with the three companies together maintaining and supporting over 260 franchisees, generating combined annual revenues of approximately £80m, providing ecommerce, fulfilment, shipping, logistics, virtual office, marketing and print solutions to SMEs and consumers.
