From home clinic to her own clinic: Seedling Skin Aesthetics opens Penwortham skin clinic
After four and half years of growing Seedling Skin Aesthetics from a small home clinic, then more recently a salon room in Penwortham, registered nurse and founder Holly Nicholson is taking an exciting next step with the opening of her own clinic in Penwortham.
Holly qualified as a registered nurse in 2020 and has a background in women’s health and gynaecology. She created Seedling Skin Aesthetics with a simple ethos: natural results, personalised care and putting skin health at the heart of aesthetics.
“I’m incredibly proud of how far Seedling Skin Aesthetics has come,” says Holly. “Opening my own clinic feels like such a huge milestone. I wanted to create somewhere that feels welcoming and relaxed, while still providing a professional, medical-led approach to aesthetics and skin health.”
The new clinic will offer a range of advanced aesthetic and skin treatments, including anti-wrinkle treatments, skin boosters, Profhilo, the new Profhilo Structura, polynucleotides, microneedling, chemical peels and medical-grade skincare.
A key feature of the new clinic will be an advanced skin analysis device, allowing Holly to look beyond what is visible on the surface and better understand individual skin concerns. This will help her create personalised treatment and skincare plans based on each patient’s needs.
“I don’t believe aesthetics should be about changing how you look,” Holly explains. “It’s about enhancing what you already have, supporting healthy skin and helping people feel confident in themselves.”
With her nursing background, Holly places a strong emphasis on safety, informed consent, clinical governance and continuing professional development. Every patient will receive a thorough consultation, with free consultations available for anyone considering treatment.
For Holly, the new Penwortham clinic marks an exciting new chapter after years of building her business from the ground up.
