Grey skies failed to overshadow a free community festival organised by the Friends of Winckley Square, which took over the Georgian square in Preston at the weekend.
The Winckley Square Festival welcomed music, entertainment and activities for all ages on Sunday, 26 July, including performances from Worldwise Samba Drummers, Blackpool Circus School and global bubble artist Paris Bubbles.
Friends of Winckley Square work hard throughout the year to raise the funds needed to make both this event and the Christmas Concert free to attend, with support from Preston City Council and local businesses. They welcome donations to help continue staging these events in the future.
We were there to capture the smiles and fun at this year's event.
