Music stars and lockdown heroes will be entertaining the city's residents from the comfort of their own homes tonight, as Preston's 'virtual' Christmas Lights Switch On takes place from 7pm.

There will be special Switch On sets from M People star Heather Small and 70s soul band The Real Thing, as well as interactive singalongs and dances for children, performances from local musicians and special messages from famous faces.
