Preston Comic Con 2020: Celebrity appearances, timings and how to get tickets - here's everything you need to know

Preston's annual Comic Con is set to return to the city for an eighth time following the success of last year's event.

Big names have already been announced for this year's Comic Con in Preston.

We'll be bringing you all the big announcements from the event between now and July right here. In the meantime, here is everything we know so far.

When is this year's Comic Con in Preston?

Comic book and movie fans won't have to wait long with the event set to return to Preston on Saturday, July 4, 2020. Door open at 10.30am until 5pm. Early bird entry from 9.30am.

Will the event still be at Preston North End?

Yes, following the rip-roaring success of last year's Comic Con, the event will be returning to Preston North End for a second time.

Which celebrities have been confirmed to appear so far?

These are the movie stars and celebrities that have been confirmed to appear at Preston Comic Con 2020. We will update with every new name as they are announced.

Paul Blake - Paul is best known for playing Greedo in Star Wars A New Hope.

Julian Glover - Julian has appeared in Game of Thrones, The Empire Strikes Back, Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade, For Your Eyes Only, Harry Potter, Blake’s 7, Space 1999, Atlantis, and Doctor Who.

Stefan Kapicic - Stefan is best known for the character Colossus in Deadpool but has also voiced characters in Love Death and Robots and Pokemon.

How much are tickets, and where can I purchase them?

Tickets are still available, including photo shoot opportunity tickets.

Ticket prices are as follows:

• Adult early bird entry ticket - £10

• Child early bird entry ticket - £5

• Standard adult entry ticket - £8

• Standard Child entry ticket - £4

• Children under 5 go free.

Photo shoot prices are as follows:

• Julian Glover photo shoot - £20

• Paul Blake photo shoot - £15

• Stefan Kapicic photo shoot - £20

Where is the best place to park?

There are plenty of car parking spaces around Preston North End football ground, as well as two football club car parks.

Can I book a trader table and how much will it cost?

Vendor applications can be made online at www.wonkyrocketevents.co.uk/preston/All stalls are £65 each and backing tables are £35.
