Craft Fair

A new monthly craft fair is launching in Preston city centre today.

On the first Monday of every month, 10am-1pm, there will be a range of stalls set up inside the Central Methodist Church in Lune Street. They will be offering a unique mix of products including hand made gifts and crafts, Body Shop products, scarves, jewellery, confectionery and wax melts. Plus there’s a cafe for a cuppa and a slice of cake.

Entry to the fair is free, but there is a tombola or raffle raising funds for the Samaritans and the Space Centre.

Wellbeing Workshops

Offering support for people on how to live well, Lancashire Recovery College is based in the Wellbeing Gallery at The Harris, Preston, every Monday hosting two free Wellbeing Workshops. Join them at 10.30am or 1.30pm. Call 01772695365.

Author Talk - Stephen Booth

The award winning crime author Stephen Booth will be visiting Blackburn Library tonight at 7pm. He is a local author who has published over 20 bestselling novels, his most popular books being the Cooper & Fry series. Entry is £3, call 01254 661221.

Preston Society, Birdwatching and Natural History

Preston Society, Birdwatching and Natural History meets every Monday, 7.30pm at St Mary’s Church, Penwortham. Tonight the presentation is on ‘Wader Watching’ by Brian Rafferty. £3 on the door, all welcome. Call 07713 975321.
