Ribfest, Ribchester’s very own music and drama festival is all set to return to the village for its annual shindig next week. The programme for the event includes a wide variety of musical genres, from jazz to folk, to swing to classical - and there’s some drama provided by the very popular and long standing Ribchester Amateur Theatrical Society thrown in too. Ribble Valley International Piano Week, Westholme School, Blackburn, Wednesday-Saturday

The 31st Ribble Valley International Piano Week sees renowned musicians heading to Blackburn to perform in seven concerts concentrated into a four day period. With the artistic director being the famous and much-loved pianist Martin Roscoe, RVIPW is in the privileged position of having access to an eclectic combination of exciting new rising stars and established musicians - with appearances by two young up and coming pianists, a chamber music concert and more.
