Preston Cecilian Choral Society to perform Bob Chilcott's Aesop’s Fables
The programme will pair Aesop’s Fables with a choral reworking of Vivaldi’s Four Seasons at a summer concert in Ashton.
Preston Cecilian Choral Society is rehearsing for its forthcoming concert, A Season to Sing, which takes place at St Michael’s Church, Ashton, on Saturday, 13 June at 7.30pm.
The concert will feature Bob Chilcott’s joyous Aesop’s Fables alongside Joanna Forbes L’Estrange’s A Season to Sing, a choral re-imagining of Vivaldi’s Four Seasons.
The work was composed to mark the 300th anniversary of Vivaldi’s best-known piece. Tickets and more information are available at www.cecilians.org.uk.
