The Original Indoor Turfed Festival returns for its 15th anniversary special in the live music venue, The Ferret.

The Ferret occupies a unique niche in Preston's grassroots live music scene supporting emerging musicians and artists with a 200 capacity, stage and lighting rig and an excellent sound system.

The festival held in Preston involves four days of live music performances from a range of different bands will play out for ticket holders of the festival at the popular venue.

The venue has ordered 70 square metres of turf and 20 hay bales to accommodate party-goers, alongside guest craft ales on tap and a bar filled with cider and summer drinks; festival food vendors, DJ sessions & crafty stalls in the extended outdoor area.

Glastonferret was originally launched as a music event for those unable to get tickets for the real Glastonbury Festival at Worthy Farm in Somerset.

When and where is Glastonferret?

Performances at The Ferret will run from Thursday 25 August night until Sunday 28 August night, where the bands will play late into the evening. You can find The Ferret at 55 Fylde Road Preston, PR1 2XQ, close to the University grounds, with Victoria car park just a short walk away.

Thursday and Friday’s acts will commence from 4pm, while live music on Saturday and Sunday begins from 12pm.

Who should you expect to see play?

Headliners for the event which first began in 2007 include: The Blinders, She Drew The Gun, Strange Bones and Porij.

Returning acts are also featured in the line-up, some of which were the first bands and artists to play at the first ever Glastonferret 15 years ago. These include: The Jackpot Golden Boys, Bingo Bay, Seamus McLoughlin and David Rybka.
