This summer, Lancaster’s Williamson Park is set to come alive with the magic of Lewis Carroll’s timeless classic as The Dukes’ award-winning outdoor walkabout theatre show makes a grand return.

Featuring a stellar cast of six exceptional actors, this family-friendly spectacle promises to enchant audiences of all ages with its imaginative and immersive experience. Against the stunning backdrop of Williamson Park, the production invites viewers to step into a kaleidoscopic wonderland where every twist and turn leads to new adventures, ensuring an unforgettable journey through Carroll’s fantastical world.

Taking on the iconic role of Alice is Eve Pereira, a Bristol Old Vic Theatre School graduate. Eve’s previous performances in The Little Princess, Macbeth, and Pride and Prejudice have earned her acclaim, and her remarkable singing talent is set to captivate audiences. Eve’s portrayal of Alice is sure to make audiences fall head over heels as she leads them through Wonderland’s whimsical terrain.

Helen Longworth, a familiar face in the Dukes’ productions and beloved for her role as Hannah Riley on BBC Radio 4’s The Archers, will bring the formidable Queen of Hearts to life. Helen’s extensive experience with the Dukes, particularly in park shows and Christmas productions, ensures a memorable and riveting performance.

The quirky and energetic Hatter will be portrayed by Katie Ball, who trained at the Liverpool Institute of Performing Arts. After honing her craft as a singer at Universal Studios in Japan, Katie is thrilled to join the cast of Alice in Wonderland. Audiences can look forward to her lively portrayal and the unforgettable tea party she is set to host.

Ross Telfer, known for his roles in A Midsummer Night’s Dream with the Everyman Theatre Company and the Netflix series The Witcher, will enchant as the Caterpillar. His rich theatrical background and captivating presence are bound to bring a unique charm to this beloved character.

Making her professional debut as the Hare is Kira Hayes, an East 15 Acting School graduate whose stage credits include Old Firm Friends, The Tempest, and her original musical Flowers in a Dark Room. Kira’s fresh talent and enthusiasm are sure to add a vibrant energy to the production, showcasing the depth of her training and passion for theatre.

Rebecca Phythian, an accomplished actor, singer, and poet from Manchester, will take on the role of the White Rabbit. A Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts graduate and founder of the acclaimed Blue Balloon Theatre, Rebecca’s dynamic performance is eagerly anticipated by audiences.
