The Harris will welcome visitors to the museum over two evenings, Wednesday and Thursday, May 16 and 17.

Each evening will involve a pop art bar on the ring balcony and the chance to get up close to the museum’s costume and history collections - being brought out just for the occasion.

On the first of the Harris Lates events, on Wednesday, light projections, created by young people from group The Harris Transformers, will be put on display. The series of projections are based on the theme ‘Love Notes to Preston’.

The following evening visitors will get to sit down to a film screening by artist Tao Lashley-Burnley.

A sound performance on an adapted reed organ played by eight people will take place afterwards.

Each evening at the art gallery in Market Square starts at 6pm until 8pm.
