Tim Minchin will bring 'Back' tour to Opera House, Blackpool

Award-winning comedian, actor and composer Tim Minchin will be heading to the Opera House in Blackpool this year.

The eclectic and performer and writer will play at the theatre on Saturday, November 20, for what is being billed as the encore to the critically acclaimed Back tour.

Minchin, 45, said the show will includesongs from all corners of his repertoire.

Tickets will go on sale on Friday at 10am.

Tim released his first studio solo album, Apart Together, last year.

First performed in the UK in 2019, Back was Tim’s first UK tour in eight years.

Since his return to the stage, Tim starred in the ABC comedy series Squinters and appeared as Friar Tuck in the Hollywood release of Robin Hood.

He also starred in the award-winning eight-part drama series Upright, which he co-wrote with The Chaser’s Chris Taylor and actor-writers Leon Ford and Kate Mulvaney.
