Spandau star Martin Kemp to talk about a life in spotlight

Actor and musician Martin Kemp is the latest big name heading to Lowther Pavilion.

The bass player from 80s band Spandau Ballet who is also fondly remembered for playing Steve Owen in the BBC’s EastEnders will be talking about his career in An Evening With Martin Kemp at the Lytham venue on Sunday, May 15.

Martin, who has also overcome a benign brain tumour, is a highly successful director, most recently with the film Top Dog, while he also appeared on Celebrity Big Brother and had a show-stopping role just this year on ITV comedy Birds of a Feather.

The evening at Lowther, part of a national tour which follows an upcoming spell in the West End musical Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, will include the opportunity to ask Martin questions, while there are extremely limited tickets for a meet and greet.

Martin said “I am really looking forward to appearing at the Lowther Pavilion and being interviewed about my career and I really look forward to seeing you there.”
