If you are planning to bring a barbecue, you might want to bring a box of matches as well.
Chinese lanterns can pose a serious fire risk if released.
Campfires are another serious fire risk which are banned from this year's event.
Kendal Calling is a family event and it's a great opportunity for kids to make new friends. However, make sure you keep them with you at all times.
We're sure many of the acts will have their own impressive light shows and pyrotechnics, so we'd suggest leaving your left over fireworks safely at home.
Flares and smoke bombs are guaranteed to spoil the experience for everyone and can emit toxic fumes while being burned, causing irritation to your throat, eyes and lungs.
An obvious one. You'll just have to stick with plastic for a few days.
Campsites are packed enough as it is!
As well as illegal drugs, legal highs and nitrous oxide are also against the law.
However innocent your intentions might be, if an item you are carrying can be used as a dangerous weapon we'd suggest leaving it at home.
If you are bringing a barbecue make sure you only fetch solid firelighters with you.
Just use your arm like everyone else ;)
