Blackpool Rocks is back!

Thousands of revellers will get an extra bite of Blackpool Rocks this weekend.

The popular winter dance music celebration has branched out to a new spring date and will take over the Empress Ballroom tomorrow.

This will be the fourth outing of Blackpool Rocks following mega events at the Winter Gardens and Blackpool Tower the past three Decembers.

This instalment will feature Dutch House producer Oliver Heldens who stormed the scene back in 2013 to then become one of the most in demand DJs on the planet.

His dance chart topping hit Gecko thrust him into the limelight and he was one of the masterminds behind Martin Garrix’s anthem Animals.

The hot tipped house head will be joined by Riton – DJ/producer behind Rinse and Repeat – and House Duo CamelPhat.

Grammy award winning duo Nero – DJs and producers behind Promises, Guilt and Me & You – will also perform alongside the raw sounds of 21-year-old Maximilian Seethaler’s tycoon Saint Wknd who is fusing danceable mixture of deep, tech and house beats with a subtle tropical-like inspired round of evocative chilled indie sounds

Music promoters Cuffe and Taylor organise Blackpool Rocks, in partnership with the Fylde’s own superstar DJ Danny Howard, who will also appear.

Director Peter Taylor said: “This is a really exciting event for us to be announcing.

“The Blackpool Rocks December event is hugely popular so it makes absolute sense to give people a little extra fun and launch a spring event too.”

Will Wallace, from Out Rawcliffe will also play in the line up at Blackpool Rocks after winning the show’s competition using his own house music mixes

Visit for tickets, costing £25 or £75 for VIP. Doors open at 8pm tomorrow.
