American punk legends to head in for resort festival
Blackpool's annual Rebellion punk festival this August will have an American flavour to it this year. In addition to Brit punk legends like The Damned, a number of Stateside hardcore legends have also been added to the bill.
Among the names are The Descendents, ex-Dead Kennedy’s frontman Jello Biafra, Fear and Dag Nasty.
Meanwhile, ex-New Order bassist Peter Hook will be performing a set of Joy Division songs with his new band The Light. Manchester is also well represented by The Buzzcocks and a reformed original line-up of Slaughter and the Dogs.
