A popular community event in Preston returned with great success over the weekend.
Preston City Mela 2026 took place at Miller Park on Saturday, June 13 and, as always, it was a colourful celebration of culture and community.
Now in its 28th year, Preston City Mela is a festival that celebrates South Asian culture, arts, music, dance and heritage.
Running between 11am-5pm, the event saw a whole host of performers take to the stage whilst stalls across the park offered traditional Asian cuisine or the chance to take part in traditional arts and crafts.
