Following the success of their first charity music festival last year, a popular Preston bar decided to make it an annual event and held an even bigger festival this year.
Taking place between Saturday, May 30 and Sunday, May 31, Orchard Craft Beer Bar held Battle of the Bands at Preston Markets to raise money for Rosemere Cancer Foundation.
Across the two days, 22 performances took place in front of over 200 spectators, with money raised through entry fees as well as a raffle with over 50 prizes.
The winner, young musician called Lucas Williams, was chosen via an online vote and won a free recording session at Studio 3507 Penwortham.
This week, Orchard Craft Beer Bar was able to announce the final total raised- an impressive £3000.
Kevin Quinn from Orchard Craft Bar told the post: “Last year I organised a one off festival for St Catherine's Hospice. The feedback was so good we've decided to make it an annual event.
“I chose Rosemere as they're local but also because a regular customer of ours received treatment at the clinic last year. Other people also came to me with stories of family and friends receiving treatment from Rosemere too.
“The event was unreal and we raised over £3000.
“I’d like to thank Preston City Council, Guild Ale House and all of the performers who donated their time as well as everyone who donated.”
Organisers sent us over 100 pictures from the event but we’ve picked just 29 of the best for you to have a browse of next...
