21 action shots from Preston Padel centre fun day raising funds for prostate cancer

“The main thing about the fun day is spreading awareness and showing how it can be treated very successfully if caught early...”

A Lancashire dad with terminal cancer hosted a fundraiser day at a Preston Padel centre at the weekend.

Mark Kingsley, from Lytham, has been living with stage four prostate cancer for more than five years - but says he is fitter than ever and will soon embark on a major challenge with Olympic champion cyclist Chris Hoy - find out more in our story here.

The 57-year-old hosted a fun day at Performance Padel Preston on Sunday (August 30) to raise awareness of the disease and support research into new treatments.

It featured padel tournaments, live music and BBQ, while children enjoyed crazy golf, a bouncy castle and free padel coaching sessions.

These were the scenes as Mark and friends took to the court to help raise funds for Prostate Cancer UK.
