PNE's clash with Stoke chosen for TV

Preston North End's Championship game against Stoke City has been selected for live broadcast on Sky Sports.

The Deepdale meeting on Saturday, August 18, has been given a 5.30pm kick-off.

It is North End's first clash with the Potters - relegated from the Premier League in May - since February 2008.

On that occasion, Richard Chaplow scored both goals in a 2-0 win for PNE.
