“Of course I’m claiming it,” said the 20-year-old, speaking to the press after the 1-1 draw at Deepdale.

“I’ve touched and then defender has slid in.

“After I’ve touched it, I don’t really know what’s happened.

“It’s ricocheted and gone in the net. I definitely got the touch so it better be mine!"
