Alex Neil gives an update on Alan Browne's injury ahead of Preston North End's trip to Leeds

Alex Neil says there is a chance Alan Browne will be in the squad when Preston North End head to Leeds on Tuesday night.

With Ryan Ledson serving the final game of his ban and Ben Pearson the second of his three-match suspension at Elland Road, Neil is short of numbers in the middle of the park.

“We’ll have a look at Alan today,” said the PNE boss at Monday morning’s press conference.

“He should take part in a bit of training and then we can make a judgement call on him.

“It’s a really quick turnaround.

“We’ll have a look and if he can offer us anything he might feature on the bench.”
