The modern pentathlon season continues to gather pace, with the senior team travelling to Hungary for the final event in the World Cup Series, before the final in Sarasota next month. The team will be looking to gain valuable World Cup points to finish in the top 36 and qualify for the final, and vital World Ranking points to help secure a coveted place on the plane to Rio in August - although Murray, the silver medalist in London 2012, has already booked her place at the Games.

The women’s team is: Kate French, 25, Gravesend, Kent; Samantha Murray, 26, Clitheroe, Lancashire; Freyja Prentice, 25, Inverurie, Aberdeenshire; Francesca Summers, 20, Dorking, Surrey.
