“You stood by our side even during club turmoil in summer 2025”: Kit maker's message to Morecambe supporters
A busy Friday at Morecambe has also seen confirmation that the club’s technical kit and retail partnership with the Terrace will come to an early end.
The announcement was made on Friday morning, hours before the Shrimps revealed the departure of manager Ashvir Singh Johal.

The development triggered a fresh wave of criticism on social media from supporters distinctly underwhelmed by matters on and off the pitch since Panjab Warriors’ takeover last August.
The collaboration will end at the conclusion of the 2025/26 season, with a Shrimps statement saying the two parties have ‘mutually agreed’ the move.

It comes less than a year after club and company had agreed a contract extension.
In addition to managing the club’s retail operation at the Mazuma Mobile Stadium, the Terrace had also manufactured kits and leisure wear which proved to be immensely popular with supporters.
As well as trying to keep kit prices as low as possible – eschewing the trend for replica and authentic shirts – the company also opted to sell this season’s strips despite the club’s existence being in question.
That decision saw fans flock to the Beach Cafe for a three-day pop-up event, which also necessitated online pre-orders, as well as merchandise being ordered from across the world.
In a statement published on X, Terrace director Carl Sewell said: “From Stamford Bridge to the Beach Cafe, our journey with Morecambe FC has delivered an experience we will never forget.
“As a brand, we gained family and stood shoulder to shoulder covering miles with the Shrimps.
“We’ve been filled with joy and pride, alongside some sleepless nights in between, and we wouldn’t change a single thing.
“We can now confirm Morecambe FC have expressed a wish to explore new avenues for technical kit and retail.
“With this in mind, the club ownership have successfully negotiated an exit agreement for an early conclusion at the end of the 2025/26 season.
“The path taken is one we will forever be thankful for our first professional technical partnership, which we championed as a platform to show what is possible for football clubs up and down the pyramid: fair pricing, creative connection and conducting business with fans put first.
“A notable thank you to Martin Thomas (Morecambe’s former head of commercial), Ben Sadler (former CEO), Robert Smith (former general manager) and the previous board of directors for trusting in our vision back in 2023 and believing in our ability.
“Without your belief, we would have never climbed the ladder and achieved numerous other accolades nationally to date.
“To Natalie and Grace, our club shop faces, you are the unsung heroes through every step of our tenure. Thank you for the effort and commitment you deliver every day.
“Finally, the fans. A fanbase like no other. You have faced the abyss and stared it right in the face without fear.
“You accepted Terrace as one of your own. We listened to you and you rewarded us. You stood by our side even during club turmoil in summer 2025.
“From us to you, quite simply, yet never enough. Thank you.”
