Underdog tag will suit Brig just fine
Brig face one of their biggest games in their history at the weekend as they travel to National League North outfit Brackley Town.
The two sides will lock horns and battle it out for a place in the first round proper of the competition as well as £12,500 in prize money.

Hide AdBrett Ormerod will miss Saturday’s game due to being away but assistant boss Reynolds insists the team will be ready.
“We will use the underdog tactic to our strength, we’ve got a report on Brackley and we know what they are about,” Reynolds said.
“We’ll put our bodies on the line and defend to the best of our ability.
“Our FA Cup run has been incredible and we’re going there with confidence.

Hide Ad“We’ll go there and play attacking football, it’s a high pressure game and we need to treat it like a cup final.
“There are plenty of big characters in our dressing room and we’ll be ready.”
Before Saturday’s game, Brig are in league action against Kendal Town tonight,Tuesday.
The two sides met earlier in the season and drew 1-1 at the Sir Tom Finney Stadium.Last time out, a below-par Brig were defeated 2-1 by Mossley and Reynolds insists improvements are needed.

“I don’t know what happened but it cannot happen again, it’s happened too many times this season.
“The lads need to realise that the performance wasn’t good enough, improvements are needed and we need to start at Kendal tonight.”
