Preston North End confirmed a number of key dates across the 2022/23 season ahead of fixture list release day next week.
The Championship is set to pause for almost a month on 12th November because of the Qatar World Cup, before it will resume on the 10th December.

First pre-season game: Saturday 2nd July 2022, Bamber Bridge (A), 3pm
Championship opening weekend: Saturday 30th July 2022
Carabao Cup first round: Tuesday 9th August 2022

Carabao Cup final: Sunday 26th February 2023
Championship final day: Saturday 6th May 2023
Championship Play-Off final: Monday 29th May 2023
