Preston North End are hard at work behind the scenes looking to conclude some key transfer deals, as they look to strengthen their squad further to aid them in what will be a gruelling season. Here's a look at some of the biggest Championship deals that could go through before next month's deadline.
9. Bournemouth - Josh King - OUT
The Norway international could become the latest Cherries star to leave the club, and there's been plenty of interest in him from England and further afield. Torino are the current favourites to sign him. Photo: TIM GOODE
10. Sheffield Wednesday/Middlesbrough - Kenneth Zohore - IN
This looks like a transfer saga that could go down to the wire, with both the Owls and Boro believed to be keen on the West Brom striker. His £25k-per-week could prove a stumbling block, though. Photo: Alex Pantling
11. Bournemouth - Rodrigo Riquelme - IN
An exciting one here for Cherries fans, whose club have been linked with the Atletico Madrid starlet. Reading are after him too, and he'd certainly be a fine acquisition for whoever seals the deal. Photo: Ian MacNicol
12. Preston North End/Derby - Keinan Davis - IN
He signed a new contract with Aston Villa last week, which can often be the first step in a talented youngster being sent out on loan. He just might keep his place in the Villains squad, though. Photo: GEOFF CADDICK
